The other half takes his liberties

So as usual yesterday I was complaining that I had now been in London for three years (my longest stay in one country since Hong Kong). Among my spoilt child sighs, Krusty reminded me that in those three years I had had lots of success, including three promotions. But I think that now it's time for me to have a personal promotion, perhaps from girlfriend to wife and mother?
And do you know what that Krusty replied? "I am currently conducting interviews and will let you know whether you have been the successful candidate"!!! The cheek!!!!
