2007 Chinese Year of the Removal Van

If my nickname was somewhat randomly chosen some 10 years ago, this year I have more than deserved the nomadic overtones of my status as La Gitane.

In December 2006 I was living in Wapping. Then I moved to Chalk Farm until April. Then I moved back to Tower Bridge, to live with Krusty. In between I travelled to Budapest, the Ile de Re, Paris, Monaco, Berlin, Shanghai, Nanjing and the oh so exotic Solihull. And now, to finish it all off nicely, Krusty and I are moving to Hong Kong in January!

The initial excitement has given way to fear and worrying. Do we sell the flat? Do we rent the flat out? Do we handcuff ourselves to the flat and refuse to face the scary future ahead of us? Will I find a job? What kind of job am I looking for? Will I be bored? Are we making a mistake?

But I am sure it will all be fine, and now that I have announced my departure to my job, I can finally start thinking about it all properly.

I'm scared, but excited. Hong Kong here I come! Again!

Wow, good luck with the move! Is this your idea or Krusty's? At least you'll be closer to us. Y'all will now have no excuse not to pay us a visit.
